Madrid 2020 makes sense, today more than ever. As they prepare for the biggest challenge of all, that of bringing the 2020 Paralympic and Olympic Games to Madrid, the heads of the Spanish capital’s Olympic bid gave a press conference in Buenos Aires just 24 hours before the International Olympic Committee makes its final decision. Voicing the bid team’s determination, its president Alejandro Blanco said: “We are ready. We have worked tirelessly and tomorrow is the most important day in this long journey.”
